Lily is Currently on a GAP year, teaching at a few different schools, before going to University next year to study Music Theatre.

How long have you been involved with St. Paul’s Players?
When I was only a few months old my Mum and Dad were directing a Pantomime so I just used to get passed round the cast during rehearsal. So taking that into account, all my life! However, I didn’t really get the theatre bug till I was a teenager as I was very shy but I used to help out backstage for every show. I think I made my first appearance onstage in 2000.

Where can you usually be found when a show is on?
If I’m not on stage (which I usually am in one way or another) I will definitely be backstage either helping with props or most probably in the dressing room working at the make-up station.

What shows have you been involved in with St. Paul’s?
My first show with St. Paul’s was Joseph in 2000 when I was a member of the Choir. I have since then appeared in the chorus or had small roles in; Shake Ripple & Roll, Comfort & Joy, Les Miserables, Honk, Summer Holiday, Jesus Christ Superstar & Are You Being Served. I have also played; Jennifer in Witches of Eastwick, So-Shy in Aladdin, Scaramouch in We Will Rock You, Alice in Dick Whittington, Anybodys in West Side Story, Princess Rose in Sleeping Beauty and Bet in Oliver.
As well as appearing on stage I have also helped produce Little Shop of Horrors and Show Stoppers.

What has been your most memorable moment with the society?
I think definitely having the chance to star in We Will Rock You alongside my best friend Jamie Taylor. Also performing the Cabaret at the NODA Region 6 awards in 2006 with exerts from Les Miserables.

As well as heading up St. Paul’s Website, Lily is also a member of the Social Committee. Lily has studied Dance and Performing Arts both at GCSE and A-Level and after completing her degree wishes to fulfill her dream to become a Performing Arts Teacher.
