Barry Heeksbazza

Barry is a Post Master in Southport.

How long have you been involved with St. Paul’s Players?
Indirectly when my daughter Jennifer started in Panto 1996/97 season; by having to babysit while my wife Jill helped at the show.
I did the bar for Fiddler on the Roof in 1999 then backstage for a number of shows.
I was on stage in 2002 for South Pacific.
I first did the sound in 2003 for Robinson Crusoe. I have been the Treasurer since about then too.

Where can you normally be found when a show is on?
Either on stage or on the Sound/Lighting Gallery.

What shows have you been involved in with St. Paul’s?
I was backstage for Snow White and all shows after that.

What has been your most memorable moment with the society?
Cutting up a Transit Van to fit through the Community Centre doors, this was an outrageous moment. And prehaps when we won awards for Les Mis.

Barry has also performed on stage for AMAS, Bolton Catholics (BCMCS) and Five Saints (Bolton).
